The Poultney Public Library offers Story Time in 3-5 week sessions periodically throughout the year. This program is open to children of all ages, though the books and materials are aimed towards the interest level of children age 18 months to 5 years.
While we have occasional programs for school age children throughout the year, the majority of our children’s programs are offered during the summer months. The 2015 Summer Reading Program theme is “Every Hero Has a Story”. We will be offering several programs within that theme, and will have weekly crafts and challenges available. Watch for updates about summer reading later in the Spring.
Remember to check our calendar regularly and “Like” us on Facebook so you don’t miss any of our special events for children!
We know how busy teens are during the school year, so we hold all of our programs designed specifically for teens in the summer. However, many of our adult and children’s events have crossover appeal so make sure to check them out!
This summer we will be doing teen movie nights, game programs, maker programs, and our traditional Lock In Night. Watch for upcoming news about programs featuring our new 3Doodler 3D Printing Pens!
